How long has it been around for

The use of geothermal energy is nothing new. It all started in Ancient China where they used hot springs. But in Ancient Rome, they took it to the next level, were they used it to heat their floors.

How do we use it?

If your house is powered by geothermal energy, in summer it takes the heat out of your house and sends it into the the ground where it naturally cools and returns it to your house were it helps bring the temperature down inside.
